Top bloodlines

At Glenanna we have a small herd of approximately 30 head which have been meticulously selected. Our cattle have to be suitable for a range of different conditions and environments. Consequently we have to breed for moderate, easy doing, structurally correct cattle with strong emphasis on fertility, calving ease and udder type in our females and reproductive soundness, temperament and muscularity in our males. In order to achieve a consistent line up of cattle, anything that doesn’t display these desirable traits is not bred from.
